Inti Creates Sound Team Heading to MAGFest 2016

Inti Creates announced earlier today that, for the first time ever, their sound team will be heading to the West to perform two live concerts. The location? MagFest 2016.

The first show, entitled Lumen Super Live 2016, will feature music from Azure Striker Gunvolt (likely to focus exclusively on the vocal tracks), while the second will be a special 20th anniversary concert dedicated to music from the various games that Inti's worked on over the years (such as Mega Man Zero). Musical talents such as Ippo Yamada, Godspeed, Yamajet, Luna Umegaki, and Megu Sakuragawa will all be present, so you can bet that the listening experience will be almost identical to attending one of  Inti's Japanese music performances!

So far, there's been no word on whether the shows will be live streamed for folks incapable of attending MAGFest. Based on Inti's most recent practices, I'd venture to guess that they won't be (they seem to like to keep this stuff exclusive to the people who attend in-person). But hey, I'd love to be proven wrong!

"Viper's Flashpoint" Drama Track Translated

Eclipse aka "Sensei Hanzo" has just finished translating the last drama track of the "Justice Rage" album. Entitled "Viper's Flashpoint", this track narrates the final chapter of Viper's backstory and what led him to join Sumeragi. Needless to say, the audio drama is very well-translated, as you may have come to expect from Eclipse's work. You can listen to it yourself below; it's pretty crazy!

Dengeki Nintendo Character Profiles: Stratos

Well, we're about half-way through the Sumeragi bosses now! This is actually the last character profile I have to cover before the next issue of Dengeki Nintendo releases with Elise and Carrera's bios.
But anyway, today I'm featuring "The Gluttonous Fly" himself, Stratos! An insane boss no doubt, but also a really unique one, especially as far as his design is concerned.

Dengeki Nintendo Character Profiles: Daytona

Huzzah, we're now getting into the Sumeragi bosses! Dengeki Nintendo actually features two bosses per issue normally, but for the sake of organization, I'm only gonna be covering one at a time here.

With that said, here's the fiery fury himself, Daytona!

Thanks for 10,000+ Page Views!

Wow, just wow. Gotta say, when I started this page a year ago, I never expected that it would garner this much of a following. This was basically just meant to be a place where I could talk about my favorite 3DS game, Azure Striker Gunvolt, without cluttering up my social media accounts, lol. Thanks to all you folks who continue to take time out of your busy schedules to visit this little corner of the web! I will, of course, continue to do my best to cover interesting Gunvolt information!

As a side-note, Inti Creates really needs to put out a good Gunvolt "Thank you" sticker. :P

Dengeki Nintendo Character Profiles: Acura

Time for some more Acura info! Wow, Inti sure likes that guy a lot, don't they? There's probably more backstory info about him than any other character in Gunvolt, even GV himself! But hey, I'm certainly not complaining; Acura's a super neat character!

Again, many thanks to Zoram Selrof for the translation! If you wish to compare this EN translation to the original Japanese text from Dengeki Nintendo, see here:

Dengeki Nintendo Character Profiles: Gunvolt

Yesterday I reported on a cool Acura/Copen side-story that was featured in three issues of Dengeki Nintendo. Did you know that the magazine has been sharing way more exclusive Gunvolt information where that came from, though? In particular, over the last couple months they've been releasing some very detailed Gunvolt character profiles. Mind you, these aren't your average one-paragraph character bios that you'd find in you game instruction booklet. They're incredibly detailed, and even include facts about the Gunvolt characters that we previously didn't know about! Things like their backstories, and how the special abilities of the psychics work. They're very interesting read about, especially for those who are interested in statistics.
Zoram Selrof was kind enough to translate a copious amount of these profiles from Dengeki Nintendo and send 'em my way to share here. Since they're so detailed, I'll be posting one a day on this page.

With that said, here's GV's profile! Enjoy! And if you'd like to compare this translation to the original Japanese text, see here.
