The reward is applied in a surprisingly subtle manner, and, at first, it's a little difficult to know whether you can even attribute it to the feat in question. No text-box pops up or anything to inform you of your prize, or acknowledge your achievement. If you didn't take a look at your status or save file, you'd never even know you had the extra cash. That is the reward, though!
There're probably a few wondering whether there's a prize for "S+" ranking every mission. As a far as I know, it's the same as the "S" reward. You don't get a double reward if you've already received the bonus money, however. For example, if you've already gotten the cash for "S" ranking every stage, you don't get anything for achieving "S+" in the same stages.
Overall, I think this was a nice way for Inti to go about a rank reward. It provides a nice sense of satisfaction for those who want to go through the trouble of achieving high ranks (not to mention, if the player only achieved an "S" in all missions, he has the funds to buy better equipment to help him with "S+" runs), but at the same time, it doesn't make you feel pressured if you don't want to, since money's easy enough to obtain in Gunvolt.
