Well, we're about half-way through the Sumeragi bosses now! This is actually the last character profile I have to cover before the next issue of Dengeki Nintendo releases with Elise and Carrera's bios.
But anyway, today I'm featuring "The Gluttonous Fly" himself, Stratos! An insane boss no doubt, but also a really unique one, especially as far as his design is concerned.
If you wish to compare the translation below to the original Japanese text, see here.

Stratos' Profile
A young man who became a test subject in Sumeragi’s Pharmacology Lab to study the effects of the drugs used on Psychics.
Before being caught by Sumeragi, he was a handsome, popular young man, but after repeated experiments, his personality broke away.
He’s stepped into a constant hunger that can’t be satisfied, and has degraded into a monster that devours anything in front of its eyes.
His hunger can only be momentarily held down through S.E.E.D and its consciousness-stabilizing effects.
He originally wasn’t under Shiden’s jurisdiction, but when he was resurrected and regenerated at Heaven’s Inverted Spear, he was incorporated under the command of Shiden.
Winged Insect (The Fly):
A 7th Wave (Sevens) that allows a person to change his flesh into energy bodies that look like flies.
These energy bodies decompose what they touch and absorb them as their own energy.
After transforming with his Sword, Stratos can turn himself into energy bodies and momentarily rebuild his flesh, which allows him to change into several forms. Since Stratos, the user, has almost no intelligence left, however, he changes according to instinct, and can’t become a too complicated form.
“Lizard Circle:”
The Sword granted to Stratos; it’s based on the Demon Blade that appears in folklore.
It’s believed that this Sword is under Sumeragi’s complete control, but the blade appears attracted to the berserk Stratos, almost as if he lures it to him.
This is indeed like the anecdote of the Lizard Circle blade: when the monster appeared, the blade jumped out of the sheath on its own.
As one might understand from this, there are still many doubts regarding the safety of the Swords, but all facts that are inconvenient for Sumeragi are concealed--such is the status quo.
And that's it for Stratos! As always, thanks to Zoram Selrof for the translation.
